One injured in shooting in northwest Reno; reward offered

RENO, NV (KOLO) - One person was injured overnight in a shooting in northwest Reno, the Reno Police Department reported Sunday.

The incident happened about 11:02 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of Commonwealth Circle.

Police said people showed up at a party uninvited and were refused admission. One of them pulled out a handgun and fired several shots that injured another person, police said.

The victim was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center and was listed Sunday in stable condition.

Secret Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the shooter.
