RENO, Nev. (KOLO) A driver has been arrested on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence following a crash with a Washoe County Sheriff SUV.

According to Reno Police, the deputies were traveling southbound on North Virginia Street near Panther Drive about 10PM February 13, 2018 when a northbound driver crossed over the lanes. The deputies, who were on DUI patrol and had already made two DUI arrests on their shift, maneuvered their patrol SUV to protect traffic from the wrong-way driver. That driver hit the deputies' SUV on the right front corner.

No one was seriously hurt.

The driver has been identified as 32-year-old Marc Taylor. He is charged with DUI, failure to maintain a lane and a separate charge of fraud, or intending to utter a fictitious bill.
