The
Board of Trustees has approved new hours at four locations. The changes will affect hours at the Downtown Reno, Duncan/Traner, Incline Village, and Sierra View Libraries.
Library Director Jeff Scott says the changes allow the library to concentrate services during the hours in which the libraries are in greatest demand.
The new hours will go into effect the week of January 7, 2019. The changes mean increased hours at three libraries and the restoration of 7-day service to the downtown location.
The new hours at affected branches are as follows:
Downtown Reno Library: Monday - Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Saturday - Sunday, 10:00 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Duncan/Traner Community Library: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 3:00 p.m. - 6 p.m.; Wednesday, 2:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.; Sunday, 1:00 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Incline Village Library: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 11:00 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Sierra View Library: Monday- Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5 p.m.
