Nevada revokes licenses for two Reno area contractors

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The Nevada State Contractors Board has disciplined several companies, two of which operate in the Reno area.

Grizzly Construction (license #82526) was disciplined for a number of complaints:
- Abandoning a construction project
- Failure to complete a construction project for the price stated on a contract
- Disregard of state building laws
- Diversion of money or property
- Failure to pay for materials or services
- Failure to include Residential Recovery Fund information in a contract
- Failure to provide required disclosures in a contract
- Substandard workmanship
- Failure to cooperate in an investigation of a complaint
- Misuse of the license.

In addition to the license revocation, the license holder was also fined $16,600 and assessed investigative costs.

Quick Systems, Inc (license #83100) was also found guilty of several complaints.
- Disregard of industrial insurance laws
- Failure to pay for materials or services
- Failure to establish financial responsibility
- Failure to comply with Board regulations
- Failure to include Residential Recovery Fund information in a contract
- Failure to include the name and license number on an advertisement
- Failure to cooperate in the investigation of a complaint
- Failure to comply with a Board request for information

The Quick Systems licensee was also fined $11,000 along with investigative costs.

Other disciplinary actions include Las Vegas based businesses:
CR Construction, dba C1 Construction - license revoked
N.D. Concrete, LLC - licensee fined
Las Vegas Home Theaters, LLC - license suspended pending a rescheduled hearing
Robert John Boeddeker, dba RJB Systems Technology - licensee was fined
Musi & Sabbadini Group Inc, dba M+S Electric - license placed on probation for two years and fined
