Nevada men's basketball gets highest-ever rank in Coaches' poll

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The University of Nevada men’s basketball team moved up a spot to fifth in the latest USA Today Coaches poll released today. It is the highest ranking for the Wolf Pack in the history of the USA Today Coaches poll. For the third consecutive week the Pack remained sixth in the Associated Press poll.

At 13-0 the Wolf Pack is one of four unbeaten teams remaining this season.

The two-time defending Mountain West regular season champions open conference play on Wednesday hosting Utah State (10-3) at 8 p.m. in Lawlor Events Center.

Nevada was ranked fifth in the Nov. 26 AP poll, the highest AP ranking in school history.
