FERNLEY, NV (KOLO) - The Nevada Highway Patrol has released the name of a person killed in a rollover.

Trooper Matt McLaughlin says about 6:20AM April 10, 2019, troopers responded to the crash on Interstate 80 in Churchill County between Fernley and Lovelock, three miles east of Trinity Junction. That's where I-80 and US 95 intersect.

Preliminary investigation indicates the driver of the Ford F-150 pickup was headed west on 80 toward Reno. The pickup drifted to the shoulder, when the driver steered to the left, causing the truck to enter the median, where it went down an embankment and overturned.

71-year-old Earl Sallee of Winnemucca died shortly after being taken by ambulance to a hospital.

The Nevada Highway Patrol is seeking witnesses to this crash. If you saw it or have any information about it, you're asked to contact Trooper Aimee Chesebrough of the Nevada Highway Patrol Multi-Disciplinary Investigation and Reconstruction Team at 775-687-9649 or achesebrough@dps.state.nv.us.
