Math Club Dodgeball for a Cause is February 2

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Northern Nevada Math Club challenges you to face the red ball for a good cause. Earn bragging rights. Support local kids building their math skills.

The 2nd annual NNVMath Dodgeball for a Cause adult dodgeball tournament is being held Saturday, February 2, at the Reno Sportsdome to benefit the Northern Nevada Math Club. Executive Director Sherry Griffin says, “Dodgeball is a fun way for the adults in our community to get involved in helping raise funds to encourage kids to enjoy math.”

Teams consists of six players each and all players must be 18 or older; cost is $25 per player. More information and registration are online at RenoDodgeball.com.

Registration ends January 28. The Reno Sportsdome is at 2400 Tampa Street, Reno. First games will begin at 1pm. Sherry Griffin can be contacted at Sherry@NNVMath.org. A 50/50 raffle will be held during the tournament.

NNVMath is a 501(c)3 in its 4th year of running area math contest and math camps for students in grades 1-12.
