RENO, Nev. (KOLO)-- A man faces up to 15 years in prison after a jury Wednesday found him guilty of battery with a deadly weapon for a stabbing near the Reno Arch.

James J. Pullen, 33, was originally arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Pullen and a 37-year-old man were arguing when Pullen stabbed the man with a knife. Pullen left the scene but police found him quickly, the Washoe County District Attorney’s Office said.

Trial began Monday and the jury returned the verdict on Wednesday.
Sentencing is set for Sept. 27, 2018 in Washoe District Court.
