RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The Reno Police Department arrested a man for punching an elderly man in the face.
It happened November 11, 2019 around 12:30PM.
Detectives tracked down the suspect, 48-year-old Richard Schmitz, through video at the homeless shelter on Record Street. Police say Schmitz admitted to punching the man in the face and was arrested.
He faces a charge of battery on an elderly person.
