Suspect arrested for double Stagecoach stabbing

STAGECOACH, Nev. (KOLO) - The Lyon County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man accused of stabbing two people in Stagecoach late Thursday, February 14, 2019.

This happened in the parking lot of the Slidin Clyde Tavern around 11:40 p.m. Deputies say both victims were taken to a hospital; they are expected to recover.

The suspect, Michael Gettis, ran from the area before deputies arrived.

The next day, Gettis was found in Stagecoach and arrested. He is charged with Attempted Homicide, Domestic Battery and Battery with a Deadly Weapon. His bail is set at $190,000.
