Every material that enters the facility in Sparks is 99% recyclable and environmentally-friendly. Those materials include cardboard, plastic, shrink wrap, and wood palates. Whatever materials are not used for product are then recycled back and taken by another manufacturing company to distribute.
"It either goes out as finished product or it's recycled. We recycle about 1,000 tons of waste a year," Gibson said.
The coffee sleeves are made to custom for businesses and people across the country. 5 million sleeves are made each week.
"We do have some waste going into a dumpster that we can't control just yet, we're working on it, but I am proud to say we're 99% clean," Gibson said.
