RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Last-minute Christmas shopping. For some, time for final touchups, but for others, time to start.
“I do online shopping as well, and I’ve done that already and am doing in-store shopping today,” says shopper Derrick Edmonds Jr.
Online shopping may be the future, but with no time left to wait for shipping, presents must be under the tree today.
“We had school so we really haven’t had the chance to come to the mall and pick out stuff for our families,” says shopper Emily Stidham.
For retailers, it's a time to get in the season of giving.
“We do most of our deals later in the year so rather than doing it earlier, doing it closer to now you will get the cheaper items,” says 4ever Sports employee Andrew Olivarez.
Whether stressful or fun, those last spending hours are what you make of them.
“We always do it last minute, it’s our time together,” says shopper Frank Martinez.
