RENO, NV (KOLO) - "True Colors: Old Treasures, New Futures" is a sale of vintage, costume and fine jewelry and accessories. The annual event is a fundraiser for the Women and Children’s Center of the Sierra (WACCS).

The event is Thursday, April 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Atlantis Resort Casino Spa

Admission is $20 or $30 for two, and includes appetizers, champagne and a door prize entry. Everyone who drops off a package of diapers to WACCS (3905 Neil Road, Suite 2) ahead of time will receive a $10 voucher toward a jewelry purchase.

The Women and Children's Center of the Sierra helps women escape poverty to provide a better life for themselves and their families. WACCS women have made a deliberate choice to leave poverty and public assistance programs behind, utilizing WACCS classes, including high school equivalency and English as a Second Language; diaper bank services; job search and readiness assistance; and domestic violence services.
