I-80 eastbound back open at Soda Springs after big rig fire
The California Highway Patrol says a tractor trailer overturned in the eastbound lanes of I-80 near Soda Springs and caught fire just after 5:30 a.m. Friday, June 14.
CHP closed the eastbound lanes and diverted traffic for several hours; the road was reopened in the early afternoon.
Emergency crews put out the fire and cleaned about 150 gallons of fuel from the road.
No injuries were reported.
