The Reno Fire Department says a home on Moose Ridge Street near Avenida De Landa in northwest Reno is a total loss after a fire early Wednesday morning.
Reno Fire says it broke out just before 2 a.m. August 2, 2017. When crews arrived, they say the home was 60% involved, eventually causing the roof to collapse.
They say the home was under renovation and vacant when the fire broke out. Three other homes surrounding the burning house were threatened. Homeowners were alerted but not evacuated.
No one was injured in the fire.
Investigators are now working to determine the cause. They are not calling it suspicious at this time.
