SUN VALLEY, NV (KOLO) -- Washoe County Sheriff's deputies are investigating an "incident" along West First Avenue in Sun Valley, according to spokesman Bob Harmon.

One man was taken to a hospital with a minor injury, the cause of which still isn't clear, according to Harmon. The injured man was at the Quick Stop Gas Station on Sun Valley Boulevard and First Avenue at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday when the incident happened.

Early reports indicated someone had been shot, but deputies found no evidence to support that. The investigation led to a driver being pulled over elsewhere in the North Valleys; deputies say there ended up being no connection to the incident.

Deputies taped off a large area and searched the ground near a parked vehicle. The gang unit was at the scene, but has since left.
