RENO, NV (KOLO) Great Basin Brewing Company hosts its 2nd Annual Brewmaster’s All-You-Can-Eat Beer Pancake Brunch this Father’s Day – Sunday, June 16 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Reno location.

The scratch-made pancake mix includes spent grains from its brewing process, as well as freshly-brewed Wild Horse Ale used in the batter. These pancakes are not only wholesome; they help in the fight against children’s cancer with 100% of proceeds staying locally to benefit the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation.

Children’s cancer can be devastating to a family — that’s why NNCCF provides financial and emotional assistance for Northern Nevada children and their families as they battle against cancer.

“We would like to thank Great Basin Brewing Company for making us a part of this great event again this year. This will be a wonderful day to celebrate dads while helping support local families impacted by childhood cancer,” says Shirley Folkins-Roberts, Executive Director of NNCCF.

“The children and families here in Northern Nevada battling everyday against cancer are truly an inspiration to me in the courage and strength they show every single day,” says Brewmaster Tom Young, “Great Basin Brewing Company is honored to again play a part in helping these everyday local heroes.”

The special Fathers' Day Brunch includes all-you-can-eat Brewmaster’s Pancakes, sausage, juice, milk and coffee, and is priced at $12 each and $6 for kids 12 and under. Every dad will get a free pint of Great Basin craft beer, root beer or ginger beer with the purchase of an adult beer pancake brunch.
