Funeral, celebration of life for the late Bob Cashell

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The funeral for former Reno Mayor Bob Cashell, who died Feb. 11, will be Thursday, Feb. 20, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at 100 Bishop Manogue Drive.

There will also be a celebration of life for the public on Feb. 20 at 3:30 p.m. at the downtown Reno Ballroom at 401 N. Center St.

Reno Police Chief Jason Soto has declared Feb. 20 as a full uniform day for all Reno Police Department officers.

Nevada Gov.Steve Sisolak ordered flags to fly at half-staff until Friday, February 14, 2020 in honor of the late Bob Cashell.

The order pays respect to Cashell's service as a former Reno Mayor, Nevada Lieutenant Governor, University Regent, and for Cashell's lifetime of philanthropy.

The Governor's order applies to flags at the State Capitol and on all state public buildings and grounds through sunset on Friday.
