First California snow survey in the Sierra at 97% of average

California's first Sierra snow pack measurement of 2020 found 33.5" of snow at the CA Dept. of Water Resources measurement sight near Sierra at Tahoe.

The 11" of snow water content is 97% of an average January measurement.

A CA Office of Emergency Services (@Cal_OES) Tweet said, statewide, California is at 90% of average for its snowpack.
