A camper-style recreational vehicle burned up just before dawn Saturday in north Washoe Valley.
Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District Chief Charles Moore reports his firefighters got the call about the fire on East Coyote Drive in New Washoe City at about 6:10 a.m. and the fire extinguished by 6:30 a.m.
The recreational vehicle is a total loss, Moore said. It burned near a structure but nothing else was damaged, the chief said.
No one was living in it, Moore said.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
