Pat Whitten tells KOLO 8 News Now propane was delivered to the business Monday, and while the cause has not definitively been determined, all signs so far lead to a gas explosion. The business will be closed until further notice.

The explosion was reported shortly before 9AM March 12, 2019. One employee was inside the business and sustained minor injuries, but did not want to be taken to a hospital.

C Street is back open after being closed in front of the Delta. The courthouse across the street was briefly evacuated, but is now open for business through the south parking lot door.

The well-known Suicide Table inside the saloon is undamaged and has been relocated during the cleanup.

Response teams included those from Storey Fire and Sheriff, East Central Lyon Fire, Nevada Department of Transportation and Highway Patrol, Nevada Department of Health, Nevada and Storey County fire marshals and the Storey County Building Department.
