RENO, Nev. (KOLO) Eldorado Resorts has donated $30,060.30 to STEP2.

"It will help provide housing, substance abuse treatment and transportation for these women and children as they rebuild their lives," said STEP2 CEO Mari Hutchinson.

The money was raised from a performance of the Cirque Paris show last month in the Eldorado Showroom.

"One of my brothers came and said let's do one of the shows for STEP2, because look what they're doing up there," said Cindy Carano, the Executive Director of Community Relations for The Row (Eldorado, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus). "And we said absolutely. And so this was the first year, and I know that check will be double next year."

STEP2 is a rehabilitation and treatment center for women in Reno; the only one that allows them to maintain custody of their children while in treatment. It is a 2018 KOLOCares Pillar Partner.
