Douglas County arrests four suspects in drug investigation

MINDEN, Nev. (KOLO) - The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says four people were arrested in a pre-dawn search warrant.

The Sheriff's Office Street Enforce Team (SET) had been investigating a possible methamphetamine ring on County Road in Minden for three months.

The raid led to the arrests of Jerold Brewer, 48, David Dubois, 43, and Loretta Bennetts, 41. All three are Minden Residents. A fourth suspect, John Zalewski, 47, has been in custody since September 3, 2019, but is also connected with the investigation.

Brewer is facing multiple counts of trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and one count failure to register as an ex-felon. Zalewski was charged for multiple counts of trafficking a controlled substance and multiple counts of sales of a controlled substance. Dubois and Bennetts were both arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Tri-Net Narcotics Task Force was also involved in the raid.
