RENO, NV (KOLO) - Reno-Tahoe International Airport has announced United Airlines has expanded its service between Reno and Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport to daily, year-round non-stop service.
“Working together with our partners at United we are advancing air travel from Reno to Houston and beyond,” says Marily Mora, President and CEO of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority. “United’s new daily, year-round service is due to our strong customer demand for non-stop service to Houston as well as the financial support and commitment of our community partners, specifically the Regional Air Service Corporation, the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority and Travel Nevada.”
The expanded service will be operated by United Express on an Embraer 175 aircraft with 76 seats. It’s scheduled to depart Houston at 7:40 p.m. Central Time and arrive in Reno at 9:59 p.m. local. The flight will then depart Reno at 11:59 p.m. and arrive in Houston the next day, at 5:34 a.m.
