Hungry Fire in Spanish Springs now fully contained

SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - The Hungry Fire in Spanish Springs is fully contained at 305 acres, the Bureau of Land Management said Wednesday night.

On Thursday, efforts will turn to repairing damage caused by fire suppression efforts, the BLM said.

No cause has been listed for the fire.

TMFPD responded to the brush fire and surrounded it with fire retardant from an air attack on Monday, September 9, 2019.
