County takes in record number of dogs after July 4th weekend

Washoe County Regional Animal Services says they took in a record number of dogs after July 4th, breaking a decade-long record.

The facility says they took in 75 dogs in a 24-hour period, many of which were likely spooked by fireworks. WCRAS says most of the dogs have been reunited with their owners.
