RENO, Nev. (KOLO) On October 16 community leaders and law enforcement agencies will gather for the second community forum on immigration.

Information and resources will be available to those attending.

Attendees have the chance to discuss concerns they have about different issues going on in the community and around the issue of immigration.

The forum will be a town hall style discussion with a question and answer portion.

"We want our community and our citizens to feel safe, to be able to feel safe and report crimes to their police departments without the fear of being detained for any reason in terms of immigration," Reno Chief of Police, Jason Soto, says.

A Spanish translator will also be on hand and a daycare will be provided.

It's happening at 2375 South Virginia Street from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
