RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Churrasco Brazilian Steakhouse has opened it's doors in downtown Reno.
'It's unique. We're the only one in Reno," said co-owner Diego Zaroski.
They offer 15 cuts of meat that are all brought to you and cut table-side. It includes several varieties of steak, pork, chicken, lamb and sausage. And it's all cooked rotisserie-style, using wood charcoal to give it that true barbecue flavor.
"If you dislike one particular cut, move onto the following one. Or you can just have everything," added Zaroski.
It's all-you-can-eat, you just flip over the coin to let the server know you're ready for more. It also includes a central salad bar, with several hot side dishes.
They originally planned to open back in November, but due to the renovation of the building, that date kept getting pushed back.
"It's an old building. So as we started opening up walls, a lot of things had to be brought up to code and that just required more work and more time."
The anticipation has only helped the restaurant, by growing their potential customer base. They already had three thousand people sign up for their mailing list before they ever opened.
"It's getting chaotic, the number of people reaching out and trying to find a table," admitted Zaroski.
Churrasco Brazilian Steakhouse is located on 425 South Virginia Street, across from the Federal Building.
