Bus driver treats kids to festive bus every Halloween

SPANISH SPRINGS, Nev. (KOLO) It's become a tradition for a local bus driver: to make sure her kids get a ride to remember on Halloween.

It takes Holly Clark more than 9 hours to decorate her school bus. From ghosts hanging from the ceiling to sticky bats to fake blood on the windows, there's a lot for kids to look at. Clark says she does it because she loves her kids and she wants to make them smile.

"They love it, they love me for doing it for them," says Clark. "They know I just do it for them. I just enjoy it."

While this is nothing new for Clark, it is something new for the kids on her route. This year, she changed bus routes and drives kids to Alyce Taylor Elementary School and Yvonne Shaw Middle School. She says her students can expect to see another holiday bus come Christmas time.
