Brig. Gen. Ondra Berry named Nevada Guard's adjutant general

Gov. Steve Sisolak has named Brig. Gen. Ondra Barry, the adjutant general of the Nevada Army and Air National Guard.
That makes Barry the highest ranking member of the Nevada Guard, overseeing 4,200 Nevada Army and Air Guardsman.
In addition to serving in the Guard since 1986, Barry also served 25 years with the Reno Police Department and rose to the position of Deputy Police Chief in 1995.
He retired from RPD in 2005 and took a position with MGM Resorts in Las Vegas.
Berry was an Indiana native, but moved to Nevada in 1980.
