BLM issues approval for 10 year Burning Man permit

The Bureau of Land Management has given final approval for a permit that will allow

to continue for the next 10 years.

The permit caps Burning Man attendance at 80,000, which is the same as 2018.

Burning Man has been held every year since 1981 in the Black Rock National Conservation Area near Gerlach, about 125 miles from Reno.

The event begins at 12:01 A.M. on the Sunday the weekend before Labor Day and ends at noon, the Tuesday after Labor Day.
