SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - A 15-year-old boy was shot Tuesday just after 7:00 p.m. near Pyramid Way and York Way.

Sparks Police say the teenager and two other people were in a car when a handgun went off. The bullet hit the young boy in the leg. He was driven to a home on Tasker Way and dropped off. The other two people drove away. When officers arrived at the home, they found the teenager on the front porch bleeding heavily from his wound. He was taken to Renown Regional Medical Center, where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Sparks police tracked the other two people down in a red Honda Pilot nearby. Police say everyone they believe is involved in the incident has been found and interviewed.
