According to Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong, there were seven teenagers in the SUV when it rolled just before 11 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2017. Five were not wearing seat belts.

The crash happened west of Kings Canyon Road near Longview Way. The teenagers, all 16 or 17 years old, were taken to hospitals. Two have life-threatening injuries; three others are in critical condition.
