Two people displaced after early-morning house fire

SUN VALLEY, NV (KOLO) - Fire crews put out a house fire that broke out around 2:30AM Thursday April 25, 2019 in Sun Valley.

The Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District responded to the call on Pearl Drive and extinguished the fire that started on the exterior of the home and moved into the attic.

The home had limited damage to the outside, and according to fire crews, had water and smoke damage on the second floor.

There were two people home at the time, but no one was hurt.

They have been displaced but the Red Cross was there to assist them in finding a place to stay.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
