104-year-old veterans asks for Valentine's cards

STOCKTON, Calif. - A 104-year-old Marine Corps veteran who served in WWII is asking people to send him cards for Valentine's Day.

Maj. Bill White, a California native, earned a Purple Heart for surviving the Battle of Iwo Jima in 1945.

White has been collecting memories in a scrapbook for most of his life. Now he's hoping some Valentine's Day cards will add a new chapter.
