Lassen County fire fully contained at 441 acres

JANESVILLE, Calif. (KOLO)-- The Hyatt Fire east of Janesville in Lassen County destroyed one home, but the fire has been stopped and crews are in mop-up mode, fire officials say.

One person received injuries that are not life-threatening.

The fire was estimated to be 441 acres and 100 percent contained as of Friday night.

Jeff Fontana, a spokesman for the Susanville Interagency Fire Dispatch Center, says there is no word what caused the fire, which started about 3:30PM June 27, 2018.

The fire was just north of Honey Lake near Hyatt Lane and Standish Buntingville Road, CalFire reports.
