SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - Champagne Family Dentistry is offering to buy back your excess Halloween candy to send to military and first responders.

They will pay $1 for every pound of candy you donate and will ship it to Operation Gratitude where they will send it to those who serve.

Operation Gratitude is a nonprofit that works to create bonds between Americans and their military and first responders through service projects and acts of gratitude.

You can drop off candy at the Champagne Family Dentistry in Sparks from November 4th-7th. Their office is located at 735 Sparks Boulevard.

Organizers ask that you only donate individually wrapped, fun-sized candy. They also welcome handwritten letters and drawings along with
pens and mechanical pencils.
