RENO, Nev. (KOLO) Three thousand people were expected at the Reno Rodeo Sunday. Many celebrated Father’s Day there.
Sean Cottle grew up going to rodeos and now has the chance to take his own kids. Sean has three kids; two of them have medical issues. “Both my daughters have really unique medical condition, they have insulin resistance and hyper suppression,” he says.
The Reno Rodeo Foundation is giving Sean and his family $10 thousand to help with transportation and medical needs.
“This money will have my family travel safely, and will help with specialized medical equipment like a new stroller and also a specialized car seat,” says Cottle.
The foundation helps kids and families in need. “Every time you buy a ticket, half of it goes to our foundation,” says Reno Rodeo President, Bill Summy.
