Meet Tabnie!

Tabnie Dozier is from Lexington, Kentucky and comes to KOLO 8 from the ABC affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky. She is a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award Winner and a two-time Emmy-nominated anchor and reporter.

Since her elementary school days, Tabnie knew she would be a journalist. Storytelling is one of her greatest joys and she revels in the constant challenge of digging deeper.

Tabnie started her news career in Evansville, Indiana, where she acquired numerous honors from the Indiana Society of Professional Journalists and the Associated Press. Tabnie graduated Cum Laude from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast News and a Minor in Spanish.

She is a dedicated member of the National Association of Black Journalists. Tabnie is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, a historically black public service organization made up of more than 300,000 college-educated women.
