She grew up north of Seattle in Washington State and is a big Seahawks fan. Ashley graduated in 2021 from Biola University in Southern California with a degree in broadcast journalism.
Most recently, she worked for NBC New York covering everything from consumer scams to the 20th anniversary of 9/11.
She is looking forward to covering news in the biggest little city and getting to know what makes Reno special.
