Thomas Petersen

Thomas Petersen grew up in Iowa and Minnesota. He is a graduate of Minnesota State University of Mankato where he majored in Public Administration and minored in Business Administration.

Tom has been in Media sales for over thirty years advertising and digital experience and has been at KOLO since 2005. He currently makes his home in Reno, Nevada where he is involved in many nonprofit and various community and governmental organizations, including the Reno Park and Recreation Committee (former commission chair).

Tom and his wife Bobbi are food and wine enthusiast and love, hiking, and helping dog rescues in a variety of capacities. He also enjoys golfing and following his favorite sports teams.

Tom is a published author and has been recognized for many sales and organizational awards including being a member of Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame and past Volunteer of the year.
