Motorcyclist killed in northwest Reno crash

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - A portion of eastbound McCarran Blvd. from Las Brisas Blvd. to Sky Country Drive, along with multiple lanes of Kings Row, was closed Tuesday night due to a fatal motorcycle crash.

Police say a motorcyclist traveling west on McCarran Blvd. attempted a left turn onto Kings Row Tuesday, April 11 at approximately 7:00 p.m. when he was struck by a pickup truck traveling east on McCarran Blvd. The motorcyclist died on scene.

The person driving the pickup was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The second motorcyclist avoided a collision and was not injured.

Impairment does not appear to have impacted the person involved in this crash.
