Motorcyclist identified in deadly Gardnerville crash

GARDNERVILLE, Nev. (KOLO) - Investigators on Tuesday released the name of the motorcyclist who died in a crash in Gardnerville.

It happened just before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 24 on Bently Parkway near Orchard Road.

Nevada State Police said 28-year-old Logan Ambrose of Gardnerville was on a white 2013 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle heading south on Bently Parkway north of Orchard Road. Ambrose went off the road, hit two trees, and was thrown from the motorcycle, investigators said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers believe speed and impairment were factors in the crash.
