6th annual Heels & Hounds fundraiser for Nevada Humane Society

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Nevada Humane Society hosted its 6th annual Heels and Hounds fundraising event on Saturday at the Silver Legacy Casino. Guests enjoyed a morning filled with dogs, cats, champagne brunch, auctions and a fashion show featuring animals up for adoption.

“This is what its all about for us, I mean, we would not be able to help all the pets, 18,000 of them, without people being so generous at events like this and of course throughout the year as well,” said Greg Hall, CEO of Nevada Humane Society.

The event raised thousands of dollars for the non-profit and its mission of saving animal lives, promoting animal welfare while finding homes and caring for homeless pets in northern Nevada.
