Northern Nevada Hopes 25th year anniversary
RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Northern Nevada Hopes offers affordable health services to low income or uninsured people. To celebrate their 25th anniversary, they are hosting a donation drive-thru at their Bell Street location parking lot.
The donation drive will take place from 10 a.m. until 1p.m., and the community is encouraged to donate items like grocery store gift cards, packaged foods, laundry vouchers, socks, wet wipes, and handwarmers. '
NN Hope’s new Bell Street location will allow them to serve more people with behavioral health services and more medical care. Over the past 25 years, the clinic has furthered their mission of providing care in the community.
Mary Ingvoldstan, Director of Communications at NN Hopes shared the importance of support they have provided over the past two decades,
“Hopes has a foundation of filling in gaps of care in our community from our inception as HIV care and over the years we have expanded to continue that role and that’s why our expansion today to add behavioral health services and more medical care is a really exciting way to celebrate 25 years,” Ingvoldstan said.
