RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -High school-aged girls looking for their first job or internship or women already in the workforce can get tips at a free job readiness event.

It is March 26 at 10 a.m. at the Pennington Boys and Girls club at 1300 Foster Drive in Reno.

It is hosted by Shades of Queening, Dress for Success Reno-Northern  Nevada, and the Reno-Sparks Chapter of the Negro Business and Professional Women’s Club.

Workshops include resume building, interview etiquette and what to wear. There will also be help with breaking through the glass ceiling and raise, salary, and benefit negotiations.
