Events happening in Reno to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day
RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - To those who want to celebrate the luck of the Irish, the Reno bar scene and local casinos will have a few options to choose from.
Starting at 5 p.m. tonight Reno’s Brewing District will be hosting the Tour de Brews event. A portion of the ticket sales will go to the Northern Nevada Celtic Celebration that will take place this May.
People can try craft drinks from places like Black Rabbit Mead, The Depot, or can even have a glass of wine at NV Sunset Winery. Live music and art will also be featured.
Corned beef, cabbage, and other Irish eats can be found this St. Patrick’s Day at The Nugget, Bonanza Casino, and The Atlantis Casino, Resort & Spa.
Steve Sedillos, Property Mixologist at the Atlantis mentioned what people can expect this holiday,
“Guinness, Killian’s Irish Red, and Hart are being featured. We have some Irish-themed specials going around through all of our dining establishments. At the Manhattan Deli, we are featuring a Guinness Stout Shepard’s Pie and in our Purple Parrot, we’ll be featuring corned beef and cabbage. We have all kinds of things going on to get in the spirit to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day,” Sedillos said.
RTC Transit will also be offering free rides from 4 p.m. until 2 a.m.
