Reno Police: shooting likely in self defense
The shooting happened in the area of McCarran Boulevard and Mira Loma Lane.

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Police say an overnight shooting in east reno was likely an act of self defense.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, July 4 at the 7-Eleven at McCarran Boulevard and Mira Loma Drive.
Investigators say one man was shot and taken to a hospital where he later died.
The incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information should call Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.
