STATELINE, Nev. (KOLO) - The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying two people in a stolen credit card investigation.

Authorities say a car was broken into on May 24, 2021 at the Cave Rock Trailhead. The suspects stole a purse with several credit cards inside that were later used at the Walmart and Target in Northern Douglas County.

The suspects were caught on video surveillance using the stolen credit cards to buy clothes and gift cards.

The first suspect is a black male adult with short hair. The second suspect is a black female adult with long braided hair. Both of the suspects appear to have distinctive hand and wrist tattoos.
