Dress for Success Celebrates International Women’s Day
The agency is hosting an online fundraiser which you can contribute to right now, organizers are asking you to donate one hour of your pay. According to World Bank, women account for just 38 percent of human capital wealth across the globe…compared to men's 62 percent.
Experts say that's due in large part to gender and pay equality. Your donation to the nonprofit will help local women retain jobs and further their education.
“Your Hour, Her Power actually gives the community the opportunity to donate to Dress for Success. Dress for Success says a handful of local partners are also joining in. On Sunday, you can visit Liberty Food and Wine Exchange, Hookava, Arlington Saloon and Labels Consignment Boutique. These businesses are donating a percentage of sales towards women empowerment.
